Our Story

Josetathyl Geo Ghana was founded by Afia Mensah after she noticed a significant gap in financial education tailored to the Ghanaian context. Having worked in banking for over a decade, Afia observed that many people struggled with basic financial concepts, leading to cycles of debt and financial insecurity.

Determined to make a difference, Afia assembled a team of financial experts, educators, and behavioral economists to develop practical financial education resources that address the unique challenges and opportunities present in Ghana and across West Africa.

Starting with community workshops in Sekondi, our impact quickly grew as participants experienced real improvements in their financial situations. This early success motivated us to expand our reach through digital resources, allowing us to serve individuals across Ghana and beyond.

Today, Josetathyl Geo Ghana has helped over 25,000 individuals transform their financial habits, with many of our clients reporting significant increases in their savings rates and overall financial well-being.

With over 15 years in banking and financial education, Afia founded Josetathyl to address the financial literacy gap in Ghana. She holds an MBA from University of Ghana and is passionate about economic empowerment.

Nana Ama develops our educational curricula and content. With a background in educational psychology and finance, she specializes in making complex financial concepts accessible and actionable for all learning styles.
